Frequently Asked Questions & Things we'd like you to know
Frequently Asked Questions
Traveling Sisters Painting is committed to continue bringing the fun of making art to our customers. The world around us has changed and continues to do so. Sometimes dealing with the issues we are faced with daily can be trying and stressful. Creating art is a healthy way of coping with stress.
We are excited to announce the opening of our on location art studio in Rochester, Indiana and so blessed to bring the paint and sip to our hosts in their homes as well.
What Is Traveling Sisters Painting (TSP)?
TSP is both a traveling paint studio and a brick and mortar paint studio. Schedule a paint and sip in your home and your home becomes the studio; you and your friends are the painters.
Schedule a paint and sip at our art studio in the country or join one of our parties that is already scheduled.
We instruct you and your guests, step-by-step, to create a fun piece of art. All paintings are done using acrylic paint wrapped artist canvas. Most paintings are on a 16"x20" canvas, but we do have several other sizes that we use. Everyone paints the same painting. It is a fun experience for all and no painting or art experience is required!
When can I host a party?
Our instructor is available evenings (at the studio) and weekends (at the studio or in your home) for your paint party or private paint session.
What type of parties are offered and how many guests may I invite?
Paint parties are great for any occasion! Birthdays, bridal celebrations, girls night in, couples nights, tween events...you name it and a paint party will not disappoint.
We offer paint parties for ages 8 and up.

Recommendations for ages 8-11: We recommend that parties for this age group not be larger than 4-6 painters. Private paint sessions are limited to 1-3 painters.
Recommendations for ages 12 and up: We recommend that parties for this age group be at least 4 painters. We have the ability to serve up to 15 painters at our studio and up to 15 painters in your home (keep in mind the space you have available when booking your paint party. Most paintings can be completed in 2-3 hours. And we do account for breaks.
How do I choose a painting?
You may choose your painting from the selection we have posted on our website and fB page. If you do not see what you are looking for, we can collaborate based on an idea or theme that you want.
